Hello. My name is Alfie Murphy. I’m a soon to be 18 year old well respected, well known and dedicated young footballer from St. Paul’s Cray, Orpington, Kent. I’m a LEFT footed (but good with right too) wide forward, winger, 2nd Striker, Striker and Attacking Midfielder. Good in the air, excellent dribbler, good passer and very fast. I’m currently on the look out for mainly 1st team Squad player experience realistically in either the Isthmian Premier Division & South-East Divisions or SCEFL Premiership, ideally a local club. Possibly starting off in an U23’s/Reserves if any is in place and if required of course. Although I do feel I can definitely add to a 1st team squad in these leagues by coming off the bench and starting off the odd game by being a genuine young, goal hungry, tricky and nippy technical back up Winger/Striker to any established attack with my consistent, confident, natural goal scoring ability. Just get me the ball and I will score any team goals and plenty of. I’ve been at Cray Wanderers Youth since U7, with 2 years at Millwall Academy at U11-U13 before going back to Cray Wanderers and playing in the Kent Youth League & Isthmian Youth League whilst alongside also representing Kent County & Bromley District from U12–U16. Both U18 years were spent at Cray Wanderers Academy midweek whilst playing for Glebe U18’s and Reserves at the Weekends. During these two years I also made 12 appearances for Cray Wanderers 1st team in the League & County Senior Cups. This season culminated in winning the U18 Kent Youth League with Glebe and offers to join Holmesdale U23’s, Reserves and 1st teams, Maidstone U23’s too, with other offers to stay at both Cray & Glebe to enter their U23’s and compete there for 1st team spots. I’m very eager to break into a Mens 1st team asap as I feel I’m ready both physically, mentally & emotionally as well as talented and hardworking both on and off the pitch. I’m 6 foot tall, 12 stone and extremely athletic and fit. I’m fast and dribble with the best of them. I’m just a late developer in regards to growing as I was very small up until 14/15 years old. I was usually the most technically gifted player in any squad I’ve been in over the years, it was always just my size that hindered me, it’s why I left Millwall. I’ve spent the past two seasons honing my new size to re-match my always consistent technique and work rate. Now at Cray I just felt they didn’t want to go with youth in 1st team that often enough for me to develop, Glebe is great and I’d stay there no problem it’s just I want to to aim higher. So I’m seeking around for trails so not to rest on my laurels and put my self out there. I do drive now, I go gym regularly, train hard and eat relatively well. I’m dedicated to succeeding in the Mens game and proving myself to be an asset to any squad by doing what I do best and that’s scoring all types of goals with both feet and head and winning football matches as there no better and harder competitor than myself. I’ve scored lots of goals and won both squad and individual medals in every squad and practically every season I’ve played in since I was 6 years old. I have plenty of videos and i am available any time for a trial, chat or meet. All I need is for a club at this level to give me a chance whilst I’m still young and hungry enough to show what I can do, continue my development and prove why I will be a success in the game, then rise up the ranks now that my body and caught up to my abilities.
