Played many positions throughout my career. Very Versatile on the pitch, but I prefer being a right sided CB (in a back 4) or in a back 3 (wherever on the line in the 3). Athletic, no nonsense & strong Centre back. I have both the height & technical ability to take on players, win headers, regain/control of the ball back under pressure, find a team-mate with accurate delivery, good off the mark acceleration but better long distance picking up speed. When going forward my attacking play however is bettered by quick feet & thinking coupled with my agility to position myself as both open body to receive, protect/hold the ball then turn with verve to finish. I can comfortably switch play with a cross field 80/100 yard accurate pass to feet or pass into a path of a running player with both in/outside of foot with pure vision. I’m a good team player & I willingly pitch in all positions if required by the team when need to do so. I have football intelligence, can read the match play ahead before it’s happened & act & orchestrate accordingly throughout the game. Also accurate at free kicks/corners (but prefer to be in the box) and have a long throw in the box from throw ins. Love the art of defending, absorbing pressure and very good at on the line clearances. Can dictate and slow the game down if need be if we’re on the back foot, takes a card for the team when need be.
